Special effects

Pyro
If you wish to use fireworks or pyrotechnics you will need to apply for a police permit. The link to the application can be found here. You will receive the ”diary number” (diarienumret) you need for the application from the PM.  It is important to submit your application well in advance, as the processing time can be up to 3-4 weeks during the summer season.

Send your completed application to registrator.bergslagen@polisen.se
Please ensure you show the PM your permit after it is approved.

Laser
The use of lasers requires a permit from the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority. We can help you with the application in cooperation with Laser Image. The processing time for the application is around four weeks. If you wish to apply for the permit directly, we would ask to be shown a copy of the approved permit.

Confetti
We do not allow the use of confetti at Dalhalla. This is due to the risk of it getting into the water where it could be harmful to the fish.

Rigging info

Points can be hung directly on the sides of the catwalks with special brackets that holds 1ton load. Image 1-3.

If points are needed between catwalks bumpertrusses can be added. They are easily placed on top of the catwalks.
Points are not possible to hang directly under a catwalk without loosing clearance. Image 4-6

There are also four I-beams that are higher than the catwalks, 11.9m / 12.8m. Image 7

In most places in the ceiling there are 50mm pipes for hanging fixtures. They are fixed on the side of the catwalks. These vary in height between 9.5m / 10.5m. Image 8
